Terms of Service

The rules that keep BlessMyBill fair and safe for Blessers and Billers.

Last updated: 27 October 2026

1. Who we are

BlessMyBill ("BlessMyBill", "we", "us") is operated by Fidelis Ozuawala & Co LTD, a company registered in Nigeria. These Terms are an agreement between you and us. By creating an account or using BlessMyBill on the web or in our mobile app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use BlessMyBill.

2. Who can use BlessMyBill

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must give true, current information about yourself and keep it up to date.
  • You may have only one account. Accounts are personal and may not be sold, shared or transferred.
  • You are responsible for everything done with your account, so keep your login details private.

3. Blessers and Billers

A Blesser is a user who gives money to other users' bills from their Blesser balance. A Biller is a user who posts bills asking for help. You can be both, after completing the onboarding steps for each.

A blessing is a voluntary gift. It is not a loan, an investment, a purchase or a payment for any goods or services, and the Blesser gets nothing in return. A Biller never has to repay a blessing, and a Blesser may never demand anything in exchange for one.

Posting a bill does not guarantee that anyone will bless it. BlessMyBill does not promise any amount of help to any Biller.

4. Blessing Packs and your Blesser balance

  • To bless, you first buy a Blessing Pack. Its value is added to your Blesser balance in Naira once the payment provider confirms your payment.
  • Your Blesser balance can only be used to bless bills on BlessMyBill. It cannot be withdrawn, transferred to another user or exchanged for cash.
  • Refunds of Blessing Packs are only available as described in our Refund Policy.
  • Payments are processed by third-party providers (such as Paystack, NowPayments and DodoPayments). Their own terms also apply to your payment.

5. Posting bills

  • Every bill must be real, for yourself or your household, and for the amount and purpose you state.
  • Your voice note must be your own voice, describe the bill truthfully, and contain nothing offensive, sexual, hateful or misleading.
  • Bills must be within the minimum and maximum amounts we set, and you may only have a limited number of bills open at a time.
  • Bills expire after a set number of days. You may renew an expired bill a limited number of times.
  • We may review, reject, hide or remove any bill at any time, including after it has been blessed.

6. Receiving blessings and withdrawing

  • Blessings you receive are added to your Biller balance. You can ask to withdraw it to the bank account on your profile, which must be in your own name.
  • We may hold a withdrawal for a period of time (for example 48 hours for new Billers) for safety checks.
  • We may ask you to confirm your identity, for example with a selfie and/or your BVN, before a withdrawal is paid. If you refuse or the check fails, we may hold or cancel the withdrawal.
  • If we find that a bill was false or fraudulent, we may return blessings to the Blessers who gave them, cancel withdrawals and close the account.

7. Fees

BlessMyBill may keep a percentage of Blessing Pack purchases and/or of blessings received to cover the cost of running the service, servers and promotion. Any fee that applies is shown to you before you pay or bless. The current fee is 0%. We will tell you in advance before introducing or changing a fee.

8. Private chat

  • A private chat opens between a Blesser and a Biller only after a blessing. Anonymous blessings do not open a chat.
  • Keep every conversation respectful and free of adult or sexual content. Do not ask for or offer anything in exchange for a blessing.
  • Never share passwords, PINs or one-time codes, and do not move a conversation off BlessMyBill to ask for more money.
  • You can report any chat. Reported chats may be read by our safety team to investigate.

9. Things you must not do

  • Post fake, exaggerated or duplicate bills, or pretend to be someone else.
  • Bless your own bills, directly or through another account, or use BlessMyBill to move money for anyone else.
  • Use stolen cards or accounts, launder money, or break any law.
  • Harass, threaten, exploit or sexually approach any user.
  • Scrape, copy, reverse engineer or overload the service.

We may warn, suspend or permanently close any account that breaks these Terms, hold its balance while we investigate, and report suspected crime to the authorities.

10. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, voice notes and text you upload. You give us permission to store, show and play them on BlessMyBill so the service can work, including showing your bills and profile to Blessers. We may remove the audio of old bills as part of routine clean-up.

11. Our responsibility

BlessMyBill connects people; we do not check every claim made in every bill and we are not responsible for how a Biller uses a blessing. The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees (if any) you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under Nigerian law that cannot be limited.

12. Changes, law and contact

We may update these Terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction.
